Of those tanks in the list, the answer was, of course, the Centurion... It is still in front line use in South Africa and has been used in the brush wars and for internal enforcement...

However the Centurion Tank did not fight in WW2 so its actually disqualified from the poll... It was a trick selection... Laughing

The T-34/85 was still in use with the Croatian and Serb Armies during the wars in the Balkans following the break-up of Yugoslavia. And still in use in North Korea until the late 1990s.

However...

The correct answer would be the M4 Sherman, since so many were also still in use though most, if not all, Sherman tanks are now in storage, retired, or no longer used, BUT a few were used by Iraqis during Iraqi Freedom. They were knocked out quite quickly as they were used as stationary pillboxes...
