What is?
This could be a toughie, I see one that jumps out on a technicality. I think the Hellcat was #1 in WWII but it's not on the list, hmmmmm gotta think a bit.

I vote for the Thunderbolt. Kill ratios were much more favorable in WWII than in Nam.

The more I think about it the more I want to say that ONE of those planes listed had ZERO losses in air-to-air combat!
It was a right place-right time kinda thing.

Hmmmmm... Could be...
But I thought only the F-15 and F-16 had no losses in combat for the Airforce...
Or maybe not, or maybe its not he Airforce... Or... ?

I went ahead and voted for it, will be interesting to see iffin I was right!
I was scouring through some web page the other night and saw a post claiming Israel had lost an Eagle after it made it back to base but I don't know wtf they were talking about.

I liked the last poll, because I knew the answer!
A lot of Corsairs were lost like Pappy Boyington's.
It had to be a Navy aircraft. The Crusader had a good kill ratio I had once read, but I think it was the Skynight.
The Skynight could be the ringer. Just a guess.
