Its seems to be logical it would be a fighter, but then again, maybe not... Or if it was a figher, which one? The Buffalo was stationed alongside the Wildcat in the Phillipines, but the Wildcat was also stationed at Wake Island, both islands were pounded by the Japanese early in the war... But then again, what Naval aircraft were stationed at Pearl Harbor and did they get into the air during the attack? And if so, did they actually shoot down any Japanese aircraft? Or did the kill take place some where else, in one of the other aircraft? So many options and possibilities... I really like this poll, its one of the my best! But did any Naval Aircraft get into the air and achieve a kill? Or was the first kill achieved elsewhere, by one of the other aircraft in the poll...
