Hmmmmmmmm
Clueless on this one other than the "Wooden Wonder" required a lot of hand work to produce. Still perhaps the best of the Destroyer class aircraft.

Thanks for the post Kewell and the opinion!

The Wellington was a great bomber, but it was withdrawn from service in 1943, so...

But than again you might be right!

Heh, you wont know until the end of the poll...

I will say there might be a twist to this poll, but then again, there might not be! Razz

Yes it was to slow and carried to few bombs to be competitive in the European Theater after 1943 as a strategic bomber...

Wondering... Did you already know this about the bomber or did you look it up?

Present and acounted Smile Smile

I don't know much about British WWII bombers, so my guess is the Lancaster. It was a four engine bomber that had I guess range and a good sized bomb load.

The Boston was what the British called our Army Air Corps A 20 that was lend leased and not a British built aircraft.

Pappy

So Pappy, do you think since the Boston was also the A-20 Havoc and that it was used in over 8 airforces that it might be the bomber with the highest build numbers from the list? Cool

Maybe this was the trick part of this poll... Shocked

What do you think? Question

I voted for the Lancaster. I eliminated the Boston, because it was not British built. Read my post closer.

Pappy

Pappy, I already read your post and I know what you voted, but...

The poll never stipulated that any of the aircraft of the list be British built... Wink
