But does the Mi-12 actually qualify as a Helicopter? Since it has a wing, it may actually fall under the designation of a compund helicopter by the international community. That is why the fastest helicopter is the Lynx, since faster helicopters tested previously all had wings, which disqualified them as helicopters! Becareful people, I have learned from CAG's wily ways!

I say Mi26 as well. They always call it the largest helicopter in newspaper articles, however they tend to get military matters wrong.

The rotodyne is much more, as its also an autogyro, a compound helicopter, and a turboprop!
