A while back Duke and I noticed an error on both the A5.SH (Also Q5.SH) and the F-14.SH when transitioning from the far off sahpes to the closer in shapes when flying head on to the target...

The nose would shoot out to infinity for just a second or two and then revert back to normal...

Turns out this was an error created when color editing the shape...

Essentially I transposed some digits and incorrectly placed some when recoloring the shapes by hand on the A5.SH (and Q5..SH). Essentially it was a typo in the shape! Laughing

And in the F-14 shape it was a fault in the file when using Sick Puppy's shape color editor that did the same thing...

Fixing both solved the issues and now those shapes are completed... I just have to reskin the A5.SH (and Q5.SH) to have compressed skins for higher detailing...

I remember that from when you and I flew some beta testing. It is very good you solved this problem because it looked very weird to say the least! A shaft of the shape would shoot off into the distance for a split second and really ruin your immersion into the mission!

Hey I am glad you reminded me of that testing, it had slipped my mind and I never got a chance to say thanks!

Good one! I also remember what this error was like. I also remembering Duke talking about it when he flew beta testing with you.
