Very frustrating day on shape edits in relation to skins...

Post subject: Very frustrating day on shape edits in relation to skins... Reply with quote
I spent a very frustrating evening trying to add skins to non skined polgons on shapes...

Unfortuantely, while my work presented itself well in the Sick Puppuy shape color editor, it did not tanslate into usable work in the sim...

The new skinned areas looked perfect in the shape color editor but CTD'd the game immediately when you tried to view the shape in game...

So far evey experimentaton has resulted in an instant crash...

I dont know if I will ever be successful at adding skin to existing non skinned polygons without a much better understanding of the shape file then what I have currently so this work will be tabled until after FAF release...

Yea it sure does. I thought I had it beat to...

Damn sensitive ingame graphics engine is the problem...

Its to unforgiving of changes in shape file length. Confused
